We’re very proud to be just one of those groups, and though we may not necessarily be the most creative or original of artists, we do like to thing we’re “almost innovative”.
And as you’ll seen find out, the Sons of Ireland musical group is made up of two sets of brothers, each of which currently resides in the United States and each of which was actually born in Ireland, thereby making them true Sons of the Emerald Isle.

Patrick O’Shea
Patrick currently resides in St. Louis, MO with his wife, Eileen, and two sons. He was born in 1969 and emigrated to the United States in 1997 from County Cork. Patrick is a fine musician who specializes in playing the guitar, banjo and mandolin. He also is an excellent lead vocalist and group harmonizer. |

Daniel O’Shea
Daniel, Patrick’s brother, makes his home in Manchester, MO, along with his wife, Christine, and daughter. Born in 1976, he initially arrived from Ireland in Pittsburg before relocating to Missouri. Patrick’s instruments of choice are the accordion and bodhrán. A fine back-up singer, he occasionally sings lead on some of the group’s more lively tunes. |

Sean Collins
Considered to be the group’s “most eligible bachedlor, Sean makes his home in Crestwood, MO, accompanied by Ranger, his Shetland Sheepdog. He is a native of County Mayo having been born there in 1975. When listening to the group’s music, if you hear either a fiddle or piano, you can be sure Sean is making the sounds. He enjoys singing in any fashion, be it lead, back-up or harmony. |

Anthony Collins
Anthony currently lives alone in Wildwood, MO, because in his words, he’s “between marriages”. His grown daughter resides in Montana. Also a native of County Mayo, he was born there in 1969. Anthony helps steady the group’s musical rhythm by slapping the upright bass, and occasionally playing the harmonica. Heralded by he bandmates the very finest of singers, he humbly chooses to not disagree. |
